Pharmacist - Inpatient

Overview

• Inpatient hospital pharmacist role in Kingman, Arizona.
• 13-week contract.
• Day shift listed in the job data; schedule may include rotating shifts between 6AM–10PM with every other weekends.
• Hospital census is 130–150 patients/day.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Pharmacist license in Arizona.
• Pharmacist (1 year of experience).
• Pharmacist experience within the last year.
• BLS certification.
• IV Admixture and Sterile Compounding Certificate.
• Experience in an Inpatient setting.

Preferred

• Night shift experience.

Schedule

• Night shift is preferred: 7 on / 7 off, Thursday–Wednesday.
• If not on night shift, the assignment rotates between 6AM–10PM with every other weekend.
• The pharmacist will be the sole pharmacist on night shift and work with 1 night shift technician.

Unit Details

• No floating to other units or departments.

Additional Notes

• 12 hours of non-billable orientation.
• Training on computer and other systems for about 2 weeks before starting covering shifts.
• Business casual dress code.
• Local candidates are not accepted within a 50-mile radius.
• Client may call off or cancel up to one shift per two weeks.
