Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Decatur, Illinois
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• 13-week contract
• 1:2 days; 1:1 nights and weekends
• Will work every third weekend
• On-call required: one night each week and every 3rd weekend
• Will float if needed
• Block scheduling is accepted
• Locals are accepted with no radius
• First-timers are accepted only with significant cath lab experience

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience with ASD closures
• Experience with cardiac implant closure devices
• Experience with cardiac stent placement
• Experience with diagnostic catheterizations in adults
• Experience with IABP placement and removal
• Experience with Impella insertion
• Experience with interventional catheterizations
• Experience with left heart catheterization
• Experience with pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction and removal
• Experience with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Experience with Cerner
