Emergency Department RN

Overview

Location: Radcliff, Kentucky
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12p-12a, every other weekend with a set schedule; off every Wednesday
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Previous nursing experience
BSN

Role Summary

Provides direct patient care on the unit, including nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, admission/transfer/discharge activities, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning
Performs comprehensive assessments, documents findings, and responds to changes in patient condition
Delegates appropriately and oversees team members in patient care activities
Supports discharge planning and unit quality improvement activities
