Neuro PCU Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: Fort Myers, Florida
Shift: 12hr Days
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit: GCMC Neuro PCU, 52-bed unit
Patient ratio: 4:1; may be expected to handle 1:4 to 5

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Experience with Cardene & Cleviprex
Ability to read EKG rhythms

Additional Details

Travelers can float to both sides of the Neuro Floor: stepdown and PCU
Floating is required, and travelers are first to float; may also float to other sister campuses
Galaxy Blue or White scrubs
All requested time off must be included at submission
Hard document deadline is Monday prior to start
Culture is very important; travelers are expected to function like core staff
