Travel RN Respiratory Med-Surg

Overview

13-week contract
Zanesville, Ohio
Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
36 hours per week
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirement

Unit

21-bed Respiratory Med-Surg unit specializing in pulmonary diseases

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Med Surg / Telemetry (3 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
Experience with Epic

Work Environment

High-acuity, fast-paced unit with rapid patient turnover
Cares for adult respiratory and medical-surgical patients
Includes continuous telemetry monitoring

Float Scope

May float within scope to similar Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders

Additional Notes

Competency test on telemetry strip interpretation is required on Day 1
Candidates must meet all requirements at submission
