Infusion RN

Overview

• Contract role in St Johnsbury, Vermont.
• Day shift, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift.
• 40 hours per week.
• The infusion center sees approximately 15–20 patients per day.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Vermont.
• Infusion experience with a minimum of two years of experience.
• Infusion experience within the last year.
• Port experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing.
• FLU shot required, no exceptions.

Preferred Qualifications

• One-year acute care experience.
• Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI).

Role Details

• Provides direct clinical care and administrative support in the infusion center.
• Responsibilities include IV medication and therapy administration, patient monitoring, scheduling, prior authorizations, clinical order review, communication with providers and payers, patient and family education, and documentation in electronic health records, medication administration logs, and transfusion records.

• Local housing resources are available, but travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
• Reliable personal transportation is essential.
