Polysom Sleep Tech - 136

Location

Bridgeport, West Virginia

Assignment Length

13 weeks

Schedule

Nights, 12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
Weekends as scheduled
No self-scheduling allowed

Required Qualifications

BLS (AHA)
Certified Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS) via NBRC
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) via BRPT
2 to 3 successful travel assignments
No canceled contracts on either party
3 years' experience as an CPSGT or RPSGT
Evaluation scores of 3.5 to 4.0

Unit Details

4 beds
Ratios: 2:1 or 1:1, depending on patient needs
Common patient types include pulmonary patients, OSA, CSA, OHS, COPD, oxygen dependent, cardiology, and REM behavior
NATUS and scoring experience
CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV used on the unit

No nurse aids on this unit
No call or standby requirement
No floating requirement
Navy blue scrubs
Orientation includes one all-day education session at the hospital, one education module, and badge processing through HR
