ER/Med Surg RN

Role

Travel RN for an ER/emergency room assignment that also covers Med Surg.

Unit / Department

• ER / emergency room
• Med Surg
• 5-bed unit
• 25 beds

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Dakota
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of ED - Emergency Department experience
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• Med Surg experience
• PALS

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts
• Day/Night rotate
• Every other weekend and holiday
• 3 call shifts required in a 13-week contract

Float Scope

• Floats between ER and Med Surg

Additional Notes

• Local candidates are accepted if within 80 miles
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• If the clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health, they must have an end date 6 months prior to submission
• Able to function independently in the ER and in the Med Surg unit with up to 5 patients
• Training includes EPIC computer training, 1 day of ER training, and 1 day of Med Surg training
