Adolescent Psych RN - Days

Specialty: Nursing
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 7a-7p (3x12)
Eligibility: Not open to previous employees of the facility. Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
Scheduling: The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.

Role Overview

The RN is an essential member of the patient care team, delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all areas of the unit. The RN delegates interventions that others may perform, supervises as appropriate, maintains a safe environment for effective nursing care, educates patients and families, and collaborates with other health professionals in planning and managing care.

Required Qualifications

Valid, current RN license in Maine
Psychiatric nursing experience (3 years)
Psychiatric experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (Associate Degree in Nursing)
Pediatric behavioral health experience
