Description

RN - Medical/Surgical (MS)

Location: Nevada Employment Type: Temporary Contract Length: 12 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shift, 3 x 12s (36 hours per week)

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nevada
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
2+ years of full-time Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting, with Med/Surg experience within the last year
Current NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS certificates
Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility
Must live 100 miles away

Responsibilities

Delivers patient care competently, capably, caringly, and efficiently
Applies knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan to provide age-appropriate care
Obtains and interprets patient information to determine patient needs
Makes initial and ongoing assessments of assigned patients, including a review of systems, with appropriate documentation
Completes admission assessments within the required timeframe, according to policy and procedures
