Description

RN exercises independent judgment in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care delivered to patients pre and post operatively , outpatient endoscopy and minor surgical procedures . This RN effectively and safely monitors the phases of anesthesia recovery ,quality care throughout the surgical procedure, and works collaboratively with the anesthesiologist surgeon to assure the patient’s safety, and to assure pain control is maintained throughout Phase I and II Recovery. This RN supervises surgical technicians and other technical assistants and works collaboratively with all other departments. This position may require working all shifts.
