***FREE on-site Parking Unit Name: Davenport
5 - Surgical Stepdown Unit. Brief Unit Description: Two Med/Surgical Units.
One 15 bed unit and one 8 bed Surgical
Stepdown Unit. Floating Required: Yes. Rotating Shifts Required: All Day positions
are Day Rotate (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 7p-7a). Rotation is not required for Night
positions. Years of Experience Required: 2+ years. Skill Sets Required: Telemetry monitoring (must be able
to read tele strips), management of Chest tube, NGT, epidurals, and Capnography.
Skills Sets Preferred: Management of Arterial lines and management of
neo-synephrine. Clinician to Patient Ratio: Patient ratios are 6-10 patients per PCA and 3-5 patients
per RN. Stepdown ratios are 2-3 per RN. Patient Population: We
care for patients after the following types of Surgeries: General, GYN,
Vascular, Thoracic, Urology, Oral, Plastics, and Trauma. Bed Count: 23. Census: 23. EMR (Charting System): EPIC. Certifications Required: Current Massachusetts
RN License. AHA BLS.
