Description
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in a rehabilitation setting. This position requires a minimum of two years of experience working with adult patients in both outpatient and inpatient environments.
Shift Information
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and re-evaluate patients as assigned, both in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician.
- Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Independently manage a full caseload.
- Know when to perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization.
- Work on Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as required by hospital operations.
Equipment Utilized
Familiarity with EMR systems is required, specifically Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of work experience in rehabilitation settings.
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Hawaii is required prior to the start of the assignment.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Red Cross is mandatory.
