Overview
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool. The role involves floating to various pediatric units, including PICU, NICU, MedSurg, PACU, Pediatric Emergency Department boarders, and Postpartum/Mother Baby. Candidates must have experience working in PICU and NICU settings and be comfortable providing care for pediatric patients.
Job Details
- Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- Time off approval available; no requests can be made during the first two weeks of the assignment
Qualifications
- Two years of PICU experience required
- Peds PACU experience highly preferred
- BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (can submit with it pending)
- Epic experience required
- Must adhere to the float policy
- Virginia nursing license can be submitted with pending status
Additional Information
Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed with this position. Candidates will undergo a clinical review followed by an auto offer based on qualifications and experience.
