X-ray Technologist

This position requires 5 to 8-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch break, totaling 35 guaranteed hours per week.

Unit Name: Cardiology

Shift Requirements

Hours per Shift: 8 hours with a 1-hour lunch
Total Hours per Week: 35 hours
Weekend Requirements: Possibly on call
Holiday Requirements: On call only
Call Requirement: Rotating on call

Qualifications

New York State License as an X-ray Technologist
Certification to inject as per section 89.40 of part 89
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification or American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
BLS and ACLS Certification (American Heart Association)
Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology
Cardiovascular credentialing (CCI) (ARRT) or (RCIS)

Experience and Skills

Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Tech or X-ray Technologist
At least one (1) year of experience working in an Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Suite
