Description
The Registered Nurse is accountable for interpreting the medical care plan, assessing patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, ensuring that nursing care is delivered competently and safely, providing personalized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care across patient groups.
Essential Functions
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records.
- Administer medications to patients and monitor them for reactions or side effects.
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
- Monitor, document, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans based on patients' responses and conditions.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Familiarity with practical nursing principles and skills to provide effective patient care and treatment.
- Knowledge of care requirements for various age groups.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
