Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to our patients. This role is crucial in our small but pivotal facility that serves the surrounding community.

Position Information

• Department: Emergency Department
• Trauma Level: Level 3
• Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (Flex Position)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend required
• Call Requirements: None

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP
• Years of Experience: 2 years in a similar role

Unit Information

• Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 2.5 patients
• EHR Systems: Omnicell, Cerner, SBAR
• Patient Population: All ages

Responsibilities

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Triage of patients presenting to the Emergency Department
• Providing care for a diverse range of illnesses and injuries
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
• Managing patient assessments and interventions in a dynamic environment
• Maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice and adhering to protocols
