Job Overview
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Center. This role entails providing high-quality nursing care and supporting patients through various cardiovascular procedures.
Schedule
The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, operating on a 4x10 hour shift schedule. Shift start times may vary at 6:30 AM, 7:00 AM, or 8:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Provide moderate sedation support and monitor patients throughout procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in on-call duties as necessary to support the needs of the unit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families about pre- and post-procedure care and education.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience in cardiovascular interventional radiology (CVIR) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
