Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surge/Tele. This position involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients while adhering to the necessary protocols and requirements for patient safety and treatment.
Shift Information
- Shift: 4x12 Hour Nights (19:00 - 07:30)
- No Block Scheduling
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med Surge/Tele environment.
- Manage patient ratios of up to 1:6-7, ensuring optimal care and attention.
- Administer medications and treatments, including proficiency in IV drips such as Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes as necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid RN License in Alabama or Compact License required at the time of submission.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a related specialty.
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
