Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background as well as experience working with diverse patient populations, including individuals within the prison system.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and support for families.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU setting.
• Experience with travel and adaptability to various clinical environments.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and CPI. MAB is accepted in lieu of CPI.
• Comfortable working with a diverse population, including incarcerated individuals.

Holiday Availability

Contract nurses will be required to participate in a holiday rotation. The following holidays will require availability, and time off requests for these dates will not be approved:

• Thanksgiving
• Black Friday
• Christmas Eve
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Eve
• New Year's Day

Nurses will be expected to work three of these six holidays based on their assigned holiday group. Schedule swaps with peers may be arranged as needed to accommodate personal preferences.

Shift Information

This position involves working a night shift, consisting of three 12-hour shifts weekly, from 19:00 to 07:00.
