Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a critical care setting. The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing patients in adult critical care and emergency departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in critical situations, including trauma, neurological, medical, cardiac, and surgical ICU.
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced ventilator management techniques such as esophageal balloon usage, pressure-volume loop interpretation, driving pressure assessment, and optimal PEEP maneuvers.
• Utilize advanced ventilators including Hamilton G5, C6, T1, MR1, Phillips EV300, and INO Vent in providing patient care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient care using EPIC electronic medical records.
• Support emergency response efforts within the facility as needed.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist License and Registration required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care environment.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center with a capacity of 400+ beds is highly preferred.
• Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday commitments.
• Must be able to provide on-call support as necessary.

Additional Information

Orientation for new hires takes place weekly on Mondays. Candidates must provide their availability for interview schedules upon application submission. All requests for time off must be presented at that time. Please note that there may be parking expenses associated with the position.
