Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to provide exceptional support in our cardiac catheterization lab. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnostic imaging and assist cardiologists and vascular surgeons during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment effectively throughout procedures.
• Perform the role of scrub technician to assist medical professionals during catheterization and vascular surgeries.
• Conduct hemodynamic monitoring to ensure patient safety and procedure effectiveness.
• Document all procedures accurately during the case for record-keeping and compliance.
• Share on-call coverage for a 24/7 cath lab, ensuring availability for urgent needs.

Qualifications

• Current MIRT license.
• Additional certification as an RT or RCIS is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab environment.
• Proficiency with Epic systems highly preferred.
• Current ACLS and CPR-AHA certifications.
• Must have been separated from previous employment for at least 6 months to qualify.

Schedule

This position requires availability Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with approximately 10-11 on-call shifts per month, including rotating weekends.
