Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of competence in critical care nursing, with specific expertise and experience in cardiothoracic surgery. This role requires flexibility to float between the ICU and IMCU as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and IMCU.
• Utilize advanced medical devices such as IABP and IMPELLA for patient management.
• Participate in a rotating schedule that includes 12-hour shifts, with weekend obligations every other week.
• Be available to work during winter holidays, with a requirement of two holidays each year.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar critical care setting.
• Must possess CT surgery experience.
• Mandatory certifications: BLS-AHA and ACLS-AHA.
• EPIC proficiency is required.
• Must have been separated from any previous employer for at least 6 months to be considered.

Orientation and Attire

Orientation sessions are available weekly. Employees are permitted to wear any color scrubs during their shifts.
