Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Hyperbaric Technician to provide exceptional care for patients requiring hyperbaric oxygen treatment (HBOT). This role involves operating hyperbaric equipment, ensuring safety, and delivering quality wound care in collaboration with medical staff.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. No weekends required.

Unit Information

The Hyperbaric Technician will be responsible for:

• Operating all ancillary equipment related to hyperbaric oxygen treatment.
• Adhering to safety standards in compliance with Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) guidelines and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards.
• Providing individualized preventive and supportive wound care in conjunction with medical staff.
• Maintaining and performing routine cleaning of hyperbaric chambers and associated equipment.
• Participating in emergency procedures and drills as required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved UHMS 40-hour Hyperbaric Treatment training.
• Two years of experience in a relevant role is required.
• Advanced certifications, including ACLS and BLS, are mandatory.
• A Maryland RRT state license is required at the time of submission, without exceptions.
• CHT or CHRN certification is preferred.
• Wound Clinician experience is valued.
