We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in a MedSurg/General Surgery unit. The ideal candidate will be available to work holidays and be open to both 3x12 and 4x12 shifts with a preference for 4x12 shifts, running from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Position Overview

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Availability: 3x12 or 4x12 (4x12 preferred)
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Holiday Rotation: Required
• Call Rotation: Required
• Nurse-Patient Ratios: 1:6 (occasionally 1:7)
• Floating: Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility reserves the right to cancel one shift per two weeks

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a MedSurg setting is preferred
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted, but preference will be given to experienced candidates
• Licensure: Current RN license (SC or Multi-State/Compact) required
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred
• On-Call Requirements: Yes
• Local Candidates: Not accepted; must reside outside a 60-mile radius

• Hurricane Season: All employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June to November), especially in peak months of August and September. Travelers should consider this before accepting assignments during this period.

• Scrub Color: Royal blue or white for RNs
