Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong telemetry and Meditech experience, along with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery.
- Document patient assessments and care in Meditech.
- Participate in shift handoff and provide effective reporting.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
Schedule
This is a night shift position, with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The schedule requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and every other holiday.
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts RN License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ARC or AHA).
- A minimum of 3 years of previous Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience is required.
- Telemetry and Meditech experience are mandatory.
Additional Information
A flu vaccine for the 2024/2025 season is required prior to the start of employment. A telemetry test will be administered on the first day of orientation.
