Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced and high-volume Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be equipped to manage a variety of complex diagnoses effectively, ensuring high-quality patient care for adults and geriatrics.
Contract Details
- Start Date: 11/16/2026
- Contract Length: 16 weeks
- Shifts: Accepting 3x12 or 4x12 night shifts (19:00-07:30)
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirements: As scheduled
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in a Telemetry unit.
- Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5, potentially increasing to 1:6 with lower acuity patients.
- Participate in patient care during periods of low census, including possible floating to other areas with equal or lower acuity levels as needed.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid RN license in the state.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
Charting System
Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system preferred.
Uniforms
Royal Blue scrubs are required.
Additional Information
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of the offer.
- Floating between specialty units and to affiliated facilities may be required as necessary.
