Position Overview
The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team in the Patient Care Unit. The RN will be responsible for delivering care in a rural Critical Access Hospital setting and must possess the necessary skills to serve effectively as the primary nurse.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, may be obtained upon hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
Additional Information
- Housing: Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing. Please consider options in nearby areas, as housing costs can be high, especially in winter.
- Health: Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment at high elevation.
- Shift Information: Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Holiday Coverage: Required.
