We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in the Emergency Department. This position requires a strong background in respiratory care, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess patient conditions and collaborate with medical staff to develop effective treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic tests and evaluations as needed.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and therapies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
• May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
• Work weekends as necessary to ensure adequate coverage and support patient needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current RRT license in Ohio is required.
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current.
• Ability to communicate scheduling requests and availability during the application and interview process.
• Comprehensive work history must be provided, including any previous positions held in similar settings.

Schedule:

This position offers the opportunity to work either 8 or 12-week contracts. Shifts are scheduled for nights, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30).
