Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment across various units, including NICU, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics. This position requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality respiratory care and treatment to patients of all ages.
Shift Details
- Shift Type: Nights
- Shift Length: 12 hours
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Self-scheduling with flexible availability required
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, with specific shifts as needed
- Holiday Rotation: May be required
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care treatments for a variety of patient populations, including NICU Level II, MICU, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics.
- Manage respiratory equipment and perform assessments, including arterial blood gases (ABGs).
- Administer and monitor various respiratory therapies, including CPAP initiation.
- Float between different units and cover all hospital floors as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Intensivists, Hospitalists, and Anesthesiologists, to deliver optimal patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy.
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; NRP for NICU.
- RRT certification preferred; CRT is not accepted.
- Ability to perform independently in various units, including NICU and ER settings.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- ReVel and V60s
- Vapotherm
- EPOC for lab tests
Orientation and Training
Orientation includes 1-2 shifts with a designated preceptor, typically comprising a day of NICU/General training and a day of ICU training.
Additional Information
Floating throughout the region may be required and could include travel to nearby sister facilities. Notification will be provided at least 60 minutes prior to the shift to make necessary arrangements.
