Description

CT Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary certifications and experience to provide excellent patient care and perform diagnostic imaging procedures effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT scans and X-ray imaging according to established protocols.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Document and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system.
Utilize proficiency in IV competency and CTA work as needed.

Qualifications

Current ARRT CT/ARRT R certification and BLS certification required.
Minimum of 1 year of CT experience, with preference for candidates having 2+ years of experience.
Familiarity with IV competency, CTA work, Altera EMR, and McKesson/Change PACS required.
Ability to operate portable X-ray equipment according to established protocols.
Must be capable of working independently while covering CT and XR when staffing is limited.

Shift Requirements

This position requires availability for shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Holiday work may be necessary if a holiday falls on a weekend.
