Position Overview

The CT Technologist position is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology. This role involves ensuring quality patient care, maintaining equipment, and aligning with safety guidelines while utilizing specialized knowledge in radiologic technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans of patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Ensure safety protocols and best practices are followed, including radiation safety measures.
• Maintain and manage imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff and communicate results as needed.
• Document patient information and imaging procedures accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (HSD/GED) is required.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences is required.
• Radiologic License from the Ohio Department of Health is required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT CT) certification in Radiography is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Work Schedule

This position offers flexibility with a variety of hours, including potential shifts of 8 hours and varying weekly hours. Shifts may occur from Thursday through Monday or Friday through Tuesday based on department needs.

Uniform Requirements

Scrub color for this role includes grape/purple, with the option to wear black pants paired with a purple top.

Employment Type

This is a full-time position with a commitment of 13 weeks, providing the opportunity for varied weekly hours between 8 to 24 hours.

The CT Technologist will be part of a dedicated radiology/cardiology team, specifically focusing on computed tomography services.
