Shift Details

This position is a full-time role consisting of evening and night shifts, totaling 36 hours per week with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Washington State or compact license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Understanding and adherence to nursing practice guidelines and standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care in a compassionate manner, utilizing the nursing process and departmental standards.
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and perform necessary nursing procedures and treatments.
• Evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and make adjustments as required.
• Document care provided, assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Collect pertinent patient information to facilitate safe and effective care.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' status and respond appropriately.
• Determine and execute necessary nursing actions to address physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
• Provide timely health education to patients, families, and significant others, sharing relevant informational materials.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based practices.
• Delegate appropriate tasks and supervise care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Engage in performance evaluation and improvement initiatives alongside management.
• Foster communication and collaboration with all members of the healthcare team.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff, in accordance with organizational policies.

Additional Information

Required to occasionally float between similar care areas and settings as part of the nursing team.
