Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Med-Surg and Telemetry to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The primary focus will be on managing the care of patients with general medical and surgical needs while utilizing telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and interpret telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC).
• Participate in patient education and wellness initiatives.
• Must be flexible and willing to float to multiple locations within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; ACLS is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.
• Telemetry experience and remote monitoring experience are required.
• Charge RN experience is preferred.

Schedule

This is a night shift position for three 12-hour shifts per week, with a requirement to work every other weekend and holiday.

Ratios

Patient ratios are typically 1:5-6.
