Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Surgical Specialty unit specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional who is ready to support patients with a variety of medical needs.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and the development of individualized care plans.
Monitor patients' vital signs and manage telemetry equipment to assess cardiac patients effectively.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate optimal patient care.
Float to other units or facilities as needed to meet patient care demands.
Participate in weekend coverage, completing shifts as required by unit needs.

Qualifications

Current South Carolina RN license.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing is preferred.
Experience in Telemetry, ER Holding, and Cardiac Telemetry is advantageous.
Proficiency in EPIC documentation system is required.
Familiarity with Omnicell medication system is preferred.

Schedule

This position offers a 3x12-hour shift schedule, operating from 07:00 to 19:30. Flexibility in scheduling, including floating between units and weekend coverage, is required based on the needs of the unit.
