Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing exceptional long-term care. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of nursing experience, demonstrating strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
- Monitor and record resident health information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist in the activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents and their families, providing education and support regarding health and wellness.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Minimum of three years of experience in nursing, preferably in long-term care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
Travel Requirements
This position may require travel between multiple locations within the region.
Work Schedule
