This is a float pool position requiring a candidate who is flexible and willing to float to multiple units, including Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, Cardiac ICU, and CTICU. Candidates must possess acute care hospital experience and be prepared to care for a variety of ICU patients.

Position Information

• Role: RN
• Specialty: ICU
• Shift: 7 am to 7:30 pm or 7 pm to 7:30 am
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48
• Weekend Requirements: 75% weekends required
• Float Requirements: Float to various ICU units depending on experience
• Patient Ratios: 1:2 (1:3 in Intermediate Care Unit)
• Electronic Medical Records: EPIC

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: 3 years of ICU experience
• Preferred Experience: Additional years of ICU experience

Patient Care Responsibilities

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will be expected to provide care for both basic ICU patients and those requiring specialized monitoring and intervention. You will manage patients who are sedated, intubated, or on pressors, but will not be assigned high-complexity patients, such as those on Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
