Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatrics to join our team on the night shift. This role focuses on providing high-quality care to children, particularly those requiring specialized medical interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for pediatric patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Manage patients requiring tracheostomy, ventilator support, and central line care.
• Monitor and assess patient health status, documenting changes and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement care plans.
• Educate families and caregivers on pediatric health issues and specific medical needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in pediatrics required.
• Must have a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
• Completion of an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment during orientation, with acceptable scores required.

Work Schedule

This position requires working night shifts, specifically 3 shifts of 12 hours each, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must be available to work at least every other holiday.
