Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-level care in the NICU, PICU, and CVICU. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering respiratory care for pediatric patients and may float to various locations for additional support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy assessments and interventions for neonatal and pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to therapy.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding respiratory health.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Ohio RRT license.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a pediatric setting, specifically in NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
• Current certifications: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS.
• Experience in a high-level care environment (level 4 NICU) is required.

Work Schedule

Shifts available: 3x12 or 4x12 hours.

Additional Requirements

• Travel between multiple locations within the region may be required.
• Two fingerprinting procedures must be completed: one onsite at the facility and another through the agency.
• All work history, including previous relevant roles, must be included in your profile.
