Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in medication management and clinical pharmacy services. This position is essential for ensuring patient safety and optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Facility Requirements:

• Locals allowed: No
• 60-mile radius restriction; no exceptions
• First-time travelers accepted: Yes
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech experience preferred

Job/Unit Requirements:

• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night 4x10-Hour schedule (19:30 - 05:30)
• Weekends: Required
• License: MO state pharmacy license required (facility will accept pending; must be in process or initiation upon receiving an offer)
• Certifications: BLS preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year required

Responsibilities:

The Inpatient Pharmacist will work independently during night shifts, serving as the only pharmacy staff member in the inpatient pharmacy. The role includes order verification and management of a PharmacyOneSource queue to address clinical alerts, including pharmacokinetic and renal dosing.
