Certifications and Requirements

• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS/BCLS)
• Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(RT))
• State licensure as a technologist in Montana
• Knowledge of patient care relative to age demographics served

Job Description

Under the direction of a Radiologist and the Department Director, the Radiologic/CT Technologist performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level that does not require constant supervision. Utilizing ingenuity and initiative, the technologist applies prescribed ionizing radiation for effective radiologic diagnosis. Responsibilities include:

• Performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Assuming responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations when utilizing ionizing radiation

Minimum Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent
• Completion of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by ARRT
• Current registration by the ARRT
• Possession of a valid Montana state license for radiologic technology

Note: Candidates residing in Montana will not be considered unless they live more than 250 miles from the facility.
