Job Description
This position is for an experienced Medical ICU Float. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to different environments within a dynamic healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to patients in various ICU settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement treatment plans.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs.
- Administer medications and perform necessary procedures.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Support a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience in a Medical ICU or Level 1 trauma environment.
- Current Massachusetts nursing license.
- CPR and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including days and nights.
Additional Information
Orientation for this position occurs weekly, typically on Mondays, except during holidays. Please be aware that parking costs may vary, with potential daily charges. Specific details will be provided upon inquiry.
