Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a challenging environment, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.

Position Details

• Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, including days and nights.
• Contract length: 8 weeks.
• Start date: January 4th.
• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays, excluding holidays.

Responsibilities

The Medical ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical ICU.
• Monitoring patient conditions and responding to critical changes.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educating patients and families regarding treatment plans and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Massachusetts license.
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience in a Medical ICU and Level 1 trauma environment.
• Current certifications in CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA.
