Job Description

Join a dynamic healthcare team in a picturesque mountain setting! We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Trauma Level IV facility and be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge.

Position Details

• Shift Information: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week along with 2 on-call shifts.
• Minimum Experience: 2 years in an Emergency Department or related environment preferred.
• Housing: Shared housing may be available within 30 miles based on capacity. Please note that this housing is non-smoking and not suitable for pets or families.
• Time Off: All requests for time off must be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients upon arrival in the Emergency Department.
• Utilize established protocols and standards for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) during patient care.
• Implement clinical pathways and coordinate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with medical and nursing staff to ensure a high standard of care.
• Stay current with emergency medical procedures and protocols.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• General certifications required: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Nursing certifications preferred: CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, STABLE, ASLS, NBSTSA, APHON, CMA, CCMA, RMA, and C-EFM.
• Experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting is highly desirable.
