Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Information

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
Number of Openings: 1
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (Flex Position)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Required every other weekend
Call Requirements: None

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing

Unit Information

Trauma Level: Level 3
Patient Ratios: 1 RN to 2.5 patients
Patient Population: Serves all ages and various medical conditions

Job Responsibilities

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will work collaboratively within a dynamic team to provide high-quality care to patients experiencing a variety of medical emergencies. As one of only two RNs in the department, the candidate must demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and the ability to perform triage efficiently.
