Shift Information
This position requires a commitment to four 10-hour shifts per week, with an expectation of on-call duties as needed.
Minimum Experience
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
Certifications and Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
Job Description
The CT Technologist will operate a GE Revolution Maxima 128-slice CT scanner, including expertise in AW workstation reformats. Candidates should have a strong understanding of helical, axial, and CT fluoroscopy scanning techniques. Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Collaborating effectively with ordering physicians and providing assistance with pertinent CT protocols.
- Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and the ability to assist radiologists when necessary.
This role demands a commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare environment.
