Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Medical Surgical Oncology specialty. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a preference for those with travel experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide patient care in a stepdown/neuro unit.
Effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes as necessary.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Float to other medical-surgical and telemetry units as required.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in medical-surgical settings.
Preferred travel nursing experience.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
Proficiency in Epic electronic medical records (EMR) within the last 18 months.
Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts weekly, from 18:45 to 07:15. Block scheduling is not available.
