Shift Information

This position involves night shifts of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including every third weekend.

Mock Schedule

• Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Friday
• Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT examinations and assisting physicians with invasive CT procedures. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing and documenting diagnostic CT examinations as ordered by approved healthcare providers.
• Ensuring effective handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
• Analyzing CT examinations for quality control purposes.
• Preparing completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Operating all CT and related equipment.
• Utilizing facility-based computer systems as required.
• Administering oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction and protocol.
• Transporting, moving, and positioning patients safely and appropriately.
• Assisting physicians with special procedures using CT.
• Participating in quality assurance and quality control activities related to CT.

Job Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved institution.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT.
• Maintains licensure requirements with the state of Ohio.
• Annual CPR certification and When Seconds Count certification are required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including patients.
• Job may involve sedentary work, involving sitting most of the time but may require brief periods of walking or standing.
