Position Overview

This position is a 13-week contract for a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse working the night shift, from 1845 to 0715, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Every other weekend is off, along with the possibility to pick up additional shifts as needed. Holiday coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
• Current Washington State nursing license or multi-state nursing license.
• Completion of a 6-hour suicide training program.
• Verification of demographics through Nursys.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS; NIHSS certification is also required.
• Knowledge of Meditech is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be expected to demonstrate teamwork and flexibility by floating to different departments as part of the rotation. Responsibilities include providing high-quality patient care, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment, and collaborating with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
