Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). You will work collaboratively in a therapeutic environment, assisting patients in the development and restoration of functional independence according to state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Implement therapy interventions according to the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in educating patients and their families about therapy goals and processes.
- Communicate the patient's status and progress regularly to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active state Occupational Therapy Assistant license (or ability to obtain).
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
